Gabor Gajdatsy has diverse work experience in research and development roles. Gabor served as the Head of Research and Development at Lightware Visual Engineering from 2023. From 2011 to 2023, they were an Optics Research Engineer & Co-founder at HInstra Instruments Ltd., where they led the design and verification of optical systems for various projects. Gajdatsy also worked as the Chief Technology Officer at Craftbot Ltd. from 2021 to 2022, overseeing R&D activities and product customization. Prior to that, they were a R&D Group Manager at Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd., where they managed projects related to manufacturing automation and computer vision systems. Gajdatsy also held roles as a Research Engineer at Furukawa Electric Institute of Technology Ltd., and as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Engineering and Materials Science.
Gabor Gajdatsy has a diverse educational background. Gabor holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Temple University Japan, which they obtained from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, Gabor earned a PhD in Optics and Laser Physics from the University of Szeged from 2006 to 2011. Gabor also completed their MSc in Physics in Informatics from the same university between 2001 and 2006. Additionally, Gabor attended the CERN School of Computing (Summer School) in 2009, where they received a CSC Diploma in Physics computing and Data Technologies. In terms of certifications, Gabor obtained a Programming OpticsStudio certification from Zemax, LLC in 2016. Gabor also holds a Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD) certification from National Instruments since September 2014, and an Advanced imaging system design using Zemax certification from Zemax, LLC in 2013.
