Roger Takacs

Roger Takacs has extensive work experience in the audiovisual industry, with their most recent role as Vice President Education at Lightware Visual Engineering. Prior to this, they worked at Atlona as a Strategic Account Manager, managing the education program, large dealer programs, strategic end user accounts, the consultant program, and manufacturer partner alliances. Before that, they held various positions at Crestron Electronics, including Director of Consultants Southwest, Director of North America Education Programs, and National Sales Manager - Strategic Accounts. Roger also worked at Custom Display Solutions, CompView, MCSI, Winnov, and ITN Signalstream in sales roles.

Roger Takacs earned an MBA in International Marketing from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in 1993-1994. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Politics/Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 1989-1993. Roger also participated in a Semester at Sea program in 1991. In terms of additional certifications, they received training in circuit-based solutions, velocity control, AV over IP, OmniStream setup and configuration from Atlona, and also holds a Crestron DMC-D-4K certification. In 2002, they obtained a CTS certification from AVIXA.
