Jorge Tomas has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Jorge started their career in 2011 at Gmixon, where they developed projects using .Net technologies focused on pattern recognition, human interaction, and augmented reality. In 2014, they joined Kewelta as a software developer and also took on the role of development software manager, leading the team in developing the Kewelta Social Network.

In 2016, Jorge moved to WebRadar, where they developed map interaction and geo-spatial data applications, as well as APIs for the metric system used by WebRadar's clients. Jorge then joined YZag, where they developed various applications for specific industries and companies in the USA, including a casino business management system and an anonymous social network called Cronvo.

In 2017, Jorge worked with INVANIA, where they developed the Invent system to manage inventories at nuclear material storage facilities in Saudi Arabia. Jorge also contributed to the development of a GraphQL API consumed by an Angular application. Jorge then briefly worked at Katapulk, an online store for Cuban handmade articles, adapting the store to the Cuban market using Spree Framework.

From 2018 to 2020, Jorge joined Studytube as a senior software engineer, contributing to the development of their knowledge distribution solution for organizations. Jorge also worked at Havana University as a professor, teaching computer science tools and viral marketing while managing and updating the school's network.

In 2020, Jorge joined Ligo BV as a senior software engineer, working on their legal tech platform that automates legal document creation, negotiation, signing, and management for SME businesses and enterprises. Jorge was later promoted to the role of lead developer in May 2021.

Currently, Jorge's most recent position is as a lead developer at Magnexus, a company they joined in 2022.

Jorge Tomas attended the University of Havana from 2009 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Sciences.
