Eric Smuda has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Eric currently holds the position of Chief Experience Officer at Likewize since November 2023. Prior to Likewize, they worked at InMoment as a Principal in CX Strategy from 2019 to 2023. Before that, Eric was the VP of Customer Experience & Loyalty at Hertz from 2016 to 2018 and was responsible for managing brand activation, customer experience improvements, and loyalty programs. Eric also held roles as an Independent Consultant at Wolters Kluwer in 2016, VP of Customer Insights & Experience at Avis Budget Group from 2012 to 2015, and Owner/Partner at ResearchLink Partners from 2005 to 2012. Eric's earlier experience includes being the Vice President of the Technology Group at Escalent in 2004 and the Director of Customer Satisfaction Measurement at HP from 1996 to 2003.
Eric Smuda holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Southern Methodist University. Eric also obtained an MBA in Marketing from the same institution. In addition, they have completed various certifications including Customer Experience: Creating Customer Personas from LinkedIn in 2023, Net Promoter System (NPS) Certification from Satmetrix in 2015, and Professional Moderator from RIVA Market Research & Training Institute in 2004.
