Joon Park

Joon Park began their work experience as a Physics and Mathematics Tutor at Laplace Education in November 2015 and continued in this role until October 2018. In February 2019, they became an Actuarial Contractor at Pacific Life Re and transitioned to the role of Pricing Analyst - Intern in January 2019. Joon held these positions until April 2021. In April 2021, Joon Park joined Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated as a Pricing Analyst and worked there until September 2022. In September 2022, they started working at Likewize as the Business Analytics Pricing Lead. Alongside their professional roles, Joon Park was involved in various positions within the Actuarial Society of UNSW, including Vice President Internal and IT/Analytics Director from October 2017 to October 2019. Additionally, they worked as an Equity Research Analyst at KOSEC - Kodari Securities from March 2018 to June 2018. Joon Park also gained experience as a Business Consultant Intern at A&A Limited in November and December 2017 and as a 2017 New Colombo Plan Scholar at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade during the same period. Lastly, they were a UNSW Volunteer Army Platoons Cadet at Arc @ UNSW from July to November 2017.

Joon Park attended Sydney Boys High School from 2012 to 2015. From 2016 to 2019, Joon studied at UNSW, earning a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies / Bachelor of Commerce, with a focus on Actuarial Studies and Finance.
