Verity Jones

Verity Jones is the current Program Director at Lilly Endowment. Prior to this, they were the Executive Vice President at Christian Theological Seminary from August 2012 to March 2017, where they were responsible for strategic planning, staff, and operational health. From May 2017 to June 2019, they were a consultant.

From October 2010 to August 2012, Verity was the Director of New Media Project at Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York. The New Media Project is a two-year research endeavor exploring the changing patterns and tools of communication as they influence and engage Christian theology and practice, and examine how pastors and lay leaders employ new digital technologies to strengthen congregations.

Verity was also the Associate Director of Wabash Pastoral Leadership Program from January 2010 to December 2012. This program gathers eighteen young(ish) Indiana pastors for a two-year leadership development program focusing on community issues and initiatives.

Lastly, Verity was the Publisher and Editor at DisciplesWorld from January 2003 to December 2009.
