Katherine Bauer

Katherine Bauer is an experienced education professional currently serving as a Senior Curriculum Specialist at Lalilo by Renaissance since March 2022. Prior to this role, Katherine held positions as a Curriculum Specialist and as a Reading Specialist with Chicago Public Schools from November 2019 to March 2022. Additional experience includes serving as a Reading Specialist and First Grade Teacher at Horizon Science Academy Southwest Chicago between 2014 and 2019. Earlier in Katherine's career, the position of Program Manager and Site Coordinator at Community Building Tutors was held from October 2012 to December 2014. Katherine holds two Master's degrees in Education and Reading from The Johns Hopkins University and Olivet Nazarene University, complementing a Bachelor of Science in Business and Marketing from the University of Illinois Chicago.
