John DeNero is Giancarlo Teaching Fellow in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science department at UC Berkeley. Before that, he was a research scientist at Google working on Translate. He received a PhD in Computer Science from UC Berkeley in 2010 under the direction of Dan Klein.
