Juan Cabello

Juan Cabello is an experienced engineering manager and software engineer with a diverse background in both technical and educational roles. Currently employed at Lilt since August 2018, Juan has progressed from a senior full stack software engineer to an engineering manager. Previous experience includes roles as a language teacher and IT head at Sprach- Und Kulturbörse Der TU Berlin, and guest lecturer positions at SAE Institute Berlin and Technische Universität Berlin, covering subjects related to programming and web technologies. Juan has also engaged in entrepreneurial activities with Entrepreneur First and has contributed to research as a research assistant at Technische Universität Berlin, co-authoring a publication for the CSCW '17 conference. Juan's technical skills were further demonstrated at unu and zmb GmbH, where responsibilities included software development, the design of IoT simulation environments, and UX improvements for e-commerce systems. Juan holds a Bachelor of Science in Informatik from Technische Universität Berlin.
