Ashley Melson

Clinical Director at Lilyfield

Ashley Melson joined Lilyfield in May 2018 as the Director of Counseling. Ashley has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX, and a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Oklahoma. Ashley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Trust Based Relational Intervention Practitioner.

Prior to coming to Lilyfield, Ashley worked at White Fields Boys’ Home in the Deer Creek area, first as a therapist and later as the clinical coordinator. During her 6 years at White Fields, Ashley became passionate about working with children and adolescents who have experienced complex trauma. She enjoyed learning about how complex trauma affects development and finding interventions to help these children succeed. Ashley is a TBRI Practitioner and has extensive training in the treatment of complex trauma. She also has experience with home- and school-based counseling for at-risk children, as well as school social work.

Ashley is married and lives in Oklahoma City with her husband and their husky. She loves spending time with friends and family, cooking, trying new restaurants, and traveling to explore new places and cultures.
