Dan Chaskes is the Chair of the Department of Arts and Sciences at LIM College, where they have served since 2017. They have previously held positions as an Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at LIM College, focusing on writing, contemporary global literature, and critical theory. Dan's notable publication includes "Decolonizing the Immigration Narrative: A Queer Ecology in Chinelo Okparanta’s 'America,'" featured in MELUS. Prior to academic roles, they worked as a Research Associate at Olson Zaltman Associates and as an Assistant to the President/Project Manager at W.H. Freeman & Company. Dan earned an MA in English from UCL and a PhD from The University of British Columbia.
