Chris Oxford

Chris Oxford has an extensive work experience in mechanical engineering and design.

Starting from 2021, Chris worked at Lime as a Staff Mechanical Engineer. Prior to that, from 2021 to 2023, they held the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer at Lime as well.

In 2020, Chris worked at KORE Power as a Mechanical Designer.

From 2019 to 2020, they were a Mechanical Designer at Wagstaff, Inc.

Chris worked at HOTSTART from 2011 to 2019. During this time, they held various positions, including Innovation Designer - Battery Thermal Management and mechanical design/drafter. In these roles, they participated in concept development, design refinement, and prototype production using SolidWorks and rapid prototyping methods.

From 2006 to 2011, Chris was the owner of Oxford Fabrication, LLC.

Starting from 2002, Chris took on the role of a stay-at-home dad and also worked as a contract prototype developer. Chris was responsible for prototype design and fabrication for various clients. Additionally, they restored two houses, one in Oakland, CA, and another in Spokane, WA.

From 1999 to 2002, Chris worked as a model maker/prototype designer at Klitsner Industrial Design.

From 1997 to 1999, they worked as a designer/model maker at Machina and as an industrial and furniture designer at Spoke Design, where they were a principal partner.

Chris Oxford attended the University of California, Davis from 1984 to 1989. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Art. Later, from 1995 to 1997, they attended the California College of the Arts where they studied industrial design. No specific degree was mentioned for this period.
