Jan Herstek has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2016, they co-founded Amplify World and served as a Co Founder until August 2020. From May 2015, they worked as a business development director at INNOV8 Group, specializing in OEM and new sustainable projects. Starting in July 2019, Jan worked as a Business Development Consultant at Tide Ocean Material and as a recycling business development counsel at Northvolt from November 2019 to December 2020. In May 2020, they joined FineCell as a business development counsel until December 2020. In the same year, they also worked as a Coach at EIT InnoEnergy from May to December. From June 2021 to June 2022, Jan worked as a Senior Sourcing Consultant at Radinn. Jan's most recent role was at Lime, where they started as a Strategic Sourcing Manager in April 2022. In March 2023, they joined EIT InnoEnergy as a Senior business counsel for closed loop LEV battery solutions. Additionally, Jan is the founder and CEO of Synge since August 2019.
Jan Herstek attended Ekonomická univerzita v Bratislave from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained a Master's degree in Economics. In addition, from 1996 to 2000, they also studied English and French literature at Prešovská univerzita v Prešove, University of Presov in Presov, although they did not earn a degree in this field.
