Paul Asel

Paul Asel is the co-founder and Managing Partner of NGP Capital, a global venture firm with $1.6 billion in assets under management, since 2005. As an adjunct professor at George Mason University's Schar School of Policy and Government, Paul teaches entrepreneurship and venture capital, emphasizing the role of public policy in fostering innovation and economic growth. Paul also serves as Chairman of the Advisory Board for Global Corporate Venturing, and has held investment and advisory roles in multiple companies, including Lime, WorkFusion, Zūm, and ButterflyMX®. Paul is involved with Mason Enterprise and the National Society of Leadership and Success, and participates in the Transaction Advisory Group for KFBS Private Equity Fund. Academic credentials include a BA in Economics and Computer Science from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
