Sam Hobert has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Sam is currently the Head of Global Campaigns at Lime, where they lead a global team responsible for winning and retaining markets through competitive permit processes, crisis response campaigns, and social impact work. Prior to this, Sam held various roles at Lime, including Senior Director, Campaigns, Director, Campaigns, Senior Manager, Campaigns, and Manager, Campaigns. In these positions, they drove cross-functional strategies to win RFPs, differentiate Lime in top-tier markets, and manage crisis response campaigns.

Before joining Lime, Sam served as the Executive Director of Progress Chicago in 2018. In 2017, they were the Campaign Manager for Ameya Pawar for Governor, and in 2016, they served as the Campaign Manager for the Committee to Elect Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant. Sam also worked as a Staff member at the Illinois Senate Democratic Victory Fund from 2015 to 2016.

Sam has further political campaign experience, with roles including Deputy Campaign Manager for Hastings for Illinois in 2016, Regional Field Director for Chicago for Rahm Emanuel in 2015, and Field Organizer for Friends of Ameya Pawar in 2015. Additionally, they have worked in governmental positions, such as Federal Affairs in the Office of the Mayor for the City of Chicago in 2013 and the U.S. Mission to Cairo with the Public Affairs Section and Information Resource Center for the U.S. Department of State in 2013.

Sam Hobert has a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Affairs from The George Washington University. Sam also participated in Study Abroad programs at AMIDEAST in Cairo and Jordan, focusing on Area and Arabic Language Studies. Prior to university, Sam attended Whitney M. Young High School.
