Stephen Bance

Stephen Bance, Ph.D., has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. In 2013, they began their career as an Irish Research Council Doctoral Researcher at University College Dublin, where they conducted extensive research until January 2017. From November 2017 to July 2018, Stephen served as an Executive Officer, Policy and Strategic Planning, at the Higher Education Authority. Stephen then transitioned to the Medical Council Ireland (Professional Competence and Research) as a Research Officer from July to December 2018. In January 2019, Stephen joined Qualtrics as a Bid Manager, a role they held until March 2022. Currently, Stephen is Senior Manager, Market Expansion EMEA, at Lime, starting their tenure in March 2022. With their background in research, policy, and strategic planning, Stephen brings a wealth of experience to their current role.

Stephen Bance, Ph.D., has a strong educational background in the field of Medical Humanities. From 2013 to 2017, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree at the University College Dublin's Centre for the History of Medicine in Ireland. Prior to this, from 2012 to 2013, they completed their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in The Social and Cultural History of Medicine at the same institution. Furthermore, Stephen obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History from the University College Dublin from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their academic achievements, they hold a certification in APMP® Bid and Proposal Management Foundation from APMG International in 2020.
