Shantanu Das

Shantanu Das is a Software Engineer at LimeChat since June 2024, having previously contributed to the Department of CSE at IIT Hyderabad in Causal AI research from December 2022 to May 2024, focusing on causally regularized probabilistic models. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Student at the Machine Learning Lab at IIIT-H, where Shantanu Das studied fairness in machine learning models and applications to price discrimination from December 2020 to December 2022, and at the Center for Security Theory and Algorithmic Research (CSTAR), investigating Markov Chain Monte Carlo sampling techniques from May 2019 to December 2021. Earlier internships included positions at the Indian School of Business, VLEAD, and Paymatrix between 2018 and 2019. Shantanu Das earned a BTech in Computer Science from the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad, completing the degree in 2022.
