Scott Markowitz

Scott Markowitz possesses a diverse background in education, law, and research. Markowitz served as an Alumni Fellow at the University of Florida from August 2006 to May 2009, where responsibilities included assisting with research on congressional ethics and teaching various political science courses. Teaching experience spans multiple institutions, including Madison City Schools (November 2021 - July 2024), The Villages Charter School (July 2010 - June 2018), Hamilton County Schools (August 2009 - July 2010), and Limestone County Schools (July 2024 - Present), with a focus on offering a wide array of courses and coaching. Additionally, Markowitz worked as an Assistant District Attorney for the Oklahoma County District Attorney's office and held a brief role in transportation at Walt Disney World. Academic qualifications include a JD from Oklahoma City University School of Law (cum laude), as well as multiple degrees in Political Science from the University of Florida and the University of Central Oklahoma.
