"Simon Wright is the sort of budding entrepreneur you’ll warm to moments after you first strike up a conversation with him.
The Nottingham-based businessman and founder of Limited100, which produces bespoke automotive art, originally acted on a hunch after he couldn’t find any interesting artwork of a Lamborghini Miura supercar.
The hunch appears to be paying off. His car-based artworks are in demand. From some of the world’s pre-eminent collectors of classic cars to premiership footballers, car dealers to private clients, Wright is the modern-day equivalent of a gallery curator, identifying photographers, commissioning photoshoots and turning those images into hand-made prints that are limited to 100 editions, signed by the artist and curator, and certified as authentic.
The 34-year old is a self-confessed petrolhead, identifying cars from the tender age of just one. But it wasn’t until the launch of Gran Turismo, the 1998 Polyphony game for Sony’s PlayStation, that he became hooked on the hobby, a bug that only intensified upon the arrival of a revitalised Top Gear TV show, in 2002." - James Mills, Motoring Journalist
