João E.

João E. has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. João currently works as the Global Process Engineering Director - Structures - Battery Enclosures at Linamar Corporation. Prior to this, they held the position of Global Process Engineering Director - Lightweight Structures and Battery Trays at Shiloh Industries. From 2019 to 2022, João was the Process Engineering Manager Europe - Body & Chassis Systems at Dura Automotive Systems LLC. Before that, they served as a Member of the Management Board at ESTES – Investimentos e Gestão, Ltda for over two decades. João also worked at Bosal as the Head of Division Process Development Department. João started their career at KIRCHHOFF Automotive Deutschland GmbH in 2008, where they held various roles including Senior Project Manager and Project Manager. Prior to that, João worked at KIRCHHOFF Portugal as a Process Engineer. João began their career as a Trainee - Quality Engineer at Veneporte - Exhaust Systems and later moved to RECABRIMAQ as a Project Engineer.

João E. completed a certified course in Factory Planning from RWTH Aachen University in 2018. In 2012, they attended Porto Business School for a Project Management Course. From 1996 to 2003, João E. pursued a five-year course in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Mechanical Technology at Universidade de Aveiro.
