Peter Griffin

Peter Griffin is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the embedded systems and multimedia domains. Currently serving as Tech Lead of the Google landing team at Linaro since April 2014, Peter has played a pivotal role in upstreaming support for STMicroelectronics’ STiH416 and STiH410 SoCs to the Linux kernel, as well as developing a LinuxDVB TS input driver. Prior to Linaro, Peter worked at STMicroelectronics from November 2010 to March 2014, where contributions included porting an AV stack to ARM and integrating Microsoft Playready DRM. Peter's career also includes experience as an Embedded Software Engineer at MPC Data LTD, where responsibilities involved Linux kernel engineering and device driver development. Peter holds a Bsc (Hons) in Computing for Real Time Systems from the University of the West of England.
