Yvan Roux

Gnu/llvm Toolchain Engineer

Yvan Roux is an accomplished engineer and educator with extensive experience in compiler development and computer science instruction. Currently serving as a GNU/LLVM Toolchain engineer at Linaro since October 2012, Yvan has contributed significantly to ARM toolchain development. Additionally, Yvan has held various teaching assistant roles at ENSIMAG and UFR IMA, focusing on compilation theory, software engineering, and computer architecture. As a Senior Compiler Engineer at STMicroelectronics since March 2007, Yvan specializes in enhancing GCC backends and GNU binutils. Previous positions include research engineer at Verimag and postdoctoral researcher at INRIA, with a focus on system verification and compositional verification of System-on-Chip technologies. Yvan holds a PhD in Computer Science from Grenoble INP - UGA and a postgraduate degree from Université Joseph Fourier.
