Technology Trainee in Green H2 & CO2 Capture and Liquefaction Plants at Linde Engineering

Leonie Siepmann has gained diverse experience in engineering and research, currently working as a Technology Trainee in Green H2 & CO2 Capture and Liquefaction Plants at Linde Engineering since October 2025. Previous roles include a student assistant at the Institute of Thermodynamics at Karlsruher Institut für Technologie from May 2022 to May 2023 and a research assistant at Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE while writing a bachelor's thesis from July 2023 to January 2024. Leonie completed an internship at Technische Universität Hamburg in January 2020. In terms of education, Leonie holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and Process Engineering from Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (2020-2024), a qualification as a sailing instructor from Norddeutscher Regattaverein (2019-2020), and is pursuing a postgraduate degree in Advanced Chemical Engineering with Process Systems Engineering at Imperial College London (2024-2025).
