Seth Potratz

Seth Potratz is a highly experienced engineering professional specializing in cryogenic technologies and construction. Currently serving as Associate Director for Cryogenic Equipment and Construction R&D at Linde Engineering since 2020, Seth provides technical support and consulting while leading a global team focused on improving cryogenic technology. Prior to this role, Seth held multiple positions at Praxair, Inc., including Associate Director for Heat Transfer Technology R&D, where responsibilities included enhancing cryogenic air separation units and delivering tailored gas processing solutions. Additional roles involved leading teams in detailed design engineering and optimizing air separation product line competitiveness, emphasizing collaboration and effective stakeholder engagement. Seth holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
