Dada Yang

Dada Yang has worked in the tech industry since 2001. From 2001 to 2009, they were a Backend Development Engineer at Tencent. During this time, they were responsible for the development and maintenance of the company's website, implementation of the website, testing, and maintenance and upgrading of the existing website. In 2009, they joined Linden Lab, where they held various roles, including Metaverse Senior Engineering Manager, Senior Engineering Manager, Engineering Manager, and Team Lead, Extraction. As Engineering Manager, they helped launch Tilia, Inc as a business and maintained communication with internal stakeholders. As Team Lead, Extraction, they worked with their team to develop golang REST apis that solve the needs of Second Life and Sansar, and created a stakeholders meeting to help keep various internal stakeholders apprised of progress and priorities.

Dada Yang obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Science from Xiamen University between 1998 and 2002. Subsequently, they completed a Master of Computer Applications - MCA with a major in Mathematics and Computational Finance from Boston University between 2006 and 2009.
