Jonathan Goodman has over 14 years of professional experience in the software engineering field. Jonathan began their career as a Freelance Programmer in 2007, and then worked as a Programmer at Dig-It! Games from 2013 to 2014. Jonathan then moved to Acuity Brands as a Lead Software Developer from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Cortina Productions, where they were responsible for creating architecture and significant parts of an interactive production's code. In 2018, they moved to InContext Solutions as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were part of the content pipeline team. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Senior Software Developer at Game7 Staffing @ Facebook Reality Labs, where they applied modern rendering skills in the realm of C++, Vulkan, and stereography. Jonathan then moved to Magic Leap as a Lead Software Engineer from 2020 to 2022, and is currently a Staff Engine Programmer at Linden Lab and Lead Rendering Engineer at Final Strike Games.

Jonathan Goodman began their educational journey in 2006 when they attended the Tazewell County Career & Technical Center for Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology. Jonathan then went on to Southwest Virginia Community College, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Information Technology Programming in 2008. In 2016, they obtained a Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance.
