Matt Chen

Matt Chen began their career in 2004 as a Backend Development Engineer at Tencent. In 2008, they joined Linden Lab as a Software Engineer, and then became the LabMetaverse Senior Engineering Manager and Team Lead, Extraction. In this role, they worked with their team to develop the golang REST apis to address the needs of Second Life and Sansar, and they helped launch the business at Tilia, Inc. In 2010, they joined Angel Investors Network as an Angel Investor, where they worked to normalize angel investment by allowing more passive investors to participate.

Matt Chen completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer engineering and science from Xiamen University between 2000 and 2004. Matt then went on to earn their Master of Computer Applications - MCA from Boston University between 2006 and 2008, with a major in Mathematics and Computational Finance.
