Rona Wu

Rona Wu has a diverse work experience spanning from 2002 to the present. Rona started their career as a Backend Development Engineer at Tencent, where they were responsible for website development, implementation, testing, and maintenance. In 2010, they joined Linden Lab as a Software Engineer and worked there until 2013. Rona then returned to Linden Lab in 2014 and held various roles, including Team Lead, Extraction, Engineering Manager, and Senior Engineering Manager. In these positions, Rona helped launch Tilia, Inc as a business, maintained communication with internal stakeholders, developed Golang REST APIs, and prioritized projects for Second Life and Sansar. Currently, they are serving as the Metaverse Senior Engineering Manager at Linden Lab.

Rona Wu completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Science at Xiamen University from 1998 to 2002. Rona later pursued a Master of International Business degree in Infrastructure Finance with a major in Mathematics and Computational Finance at Columbia University from 2006 to 2008.
