The Lindt Cocoa Foundation, established in 2013 and based in Switzerland, is a non‑profit corporate foundation dedicated to promoting sustainable development in cocoa‑growing regions.

Our mission is to drive lasting change by empowering individuals, families, and communities in cocoa‑growing regions to improve their livelihoods through innovative solutions. Our vision is a future in which people in these regions thrive and live in harmony with the environment.

To advance this mission, the Foundation supports both long‑term initiatives that address systemic challenges in cocoa‑growing regions and smaller pilot and applied research projects that generate actionable insights and practical solutions. By combining these complementary approaches, we foster innovation, strengthen the effectiveness of interventions, and aim to contribute to resilient livelihoods and healthier ecosystems in cocoa‑growing communities.
