Great architecture starts with a conversation about people, place, and purpose. That is where we begin.

At the intersection of history and innovation, line design is a boutique architecture and design studio crafting spaces that honor legacy while creating new stories for the future.

Our motto, innovate the past, shape the future, guides everything we do. We work with equal passion on breathing new life into historic landmarks and designing new buildings that feel timeless from day one. Whether it is adaptive reuse, a ground-up development, or a master plan for a growing neighborhood, we bring the same care, creativity, and purpose to every project.

Our portfolio spans hospitality, multi-family, mixed-use, and urban design. From reimagining overlooked urban sites to creating vibrant destinations, we bring decades of experience in historic tax credits, strategic redevelopment, and award-winning design.

Managing Principal Adam Jones is a leader in downtown revitalization with a track record of transforming neglected properties into thriving places. Design Principal Taylor Cell shapes our creative vision, translating complex ideas into architecture, interiors, and public spaces that are grounded, expressive, and enduring.

Every project is a collaboration with our clients, our partners, and the communities we serve. We embrace purposeful innovation, sustainability, and social connection to create environments that enrich the human experience.

We design with care. We build with purpose.

We create spaces that connect the past to the future, vision to reality, and people to place.

This is our practice. This is our commitment. This is our pledge.
