Joel Young

Joel Young is a seasoned professional with a robust background in machine learning infrastructure, engineering, and education. After earning a BS in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a PhD from Brown University, they began their career at Publishing Innovations and later progressed through various leadership roles in the United States Air Force, culminating in their position as a Cyberspace Operation Officer. At LinkedIn, they led teams focused on machine learning and assessment capabilities, and they currently serve as the Founder and Board Participant at Hireguide, while also advising at Linea. Through their diverse experiences, Joel has maintained a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring in the fields of computer science and engineering.
