Bryan Stern

Bryan Stern is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in Android application development and software engineering. Currently employed at Linear since May 2023, Bryan previously held various titles at Slack from July 2016 to May 2023, including Senior Staff Engineer and Senior Engineer for Android. Bryan's earlier roles include contributions to the Android applications at Circle and HootSuite, where significant achievements included building applications from the ground up and improving build processes. As a lead R&D Software Engineer at Recon Instruments, Bryan integrated HCI principles into technical developments. Educationally, Bryan holds a BSc in Cognitive Systems from The University of British Columbia, where involvement as a research assistant and teaching assistant further established foundational expertise.
