Dan Lines

Dan Lines is the current COO and co-founder at LinearB, a company that creates dev tools for over 10,000 developers. Dan is also the host of the Dev Interrupted Podcast, which is listened to by more than 1,000 engineering leaders every week. In addition, they have built a Discord community of more than 2,000 engineering leaders and is also hosting the INTERACT conference.

Before their current venture, Dan Lines was with CloudLock for 9 years and 1 month, where they held various positions such as VP Engineering & Operations, Director of Engineering, and Software Engineering Manager. CloudLock was acquired by Cisco in 2016 in a $293M acquisition in the Cloud Security space. Prior to CloudLock, Dan Lines worked as a software engineer at Nuance Communications for 1 year and 1 month.

Dan Lines attended Villanova University from 2003-2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Dan also completed a minor in business through Villanova's SBI Program.
