Valeriy Van

Valeriy Van has been working in the tech industry since 2009. Valeriy started as an iOS developer for w7software.com, where they developed apps for Ukrainian customers. In 2014, they joined Unicsoft as an iOS developer, and also became an iOS development trainer at IT STEP Computer Academy Odessa branch. In 2016, they became an iOS Tech Lead developer at CompuGroup Medical Software GmbH, where they led a team of 3 iOS developers responsible for developing iOS SDK and native iOS app for storing and accessing medical records. In 2018, they moved to Parkling as a Senior iOS developer. In 2019, they became a Team Lead iOS developer at eNote. Currently, they are a Senior iOS developer at Vectornator by Linearity, and is also set to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2022 as a Soldier.

Valeriy Van obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from Odessa National Polytechnic University from 1988 to 1994. Valeriy also completed a course in Business Administration and Management, General from IBR. Additionally, Valeriy has obtained several certifications, including a Silver Award The OLX Group challenge from Codility in November 2020, a Silver Award Silver 2020 from Codility in October 2020, Using Databases with Python from Coursera Course Certificates in July 2016, Using Python to Access Web Data by University of Michigan on Coursera from Coursera Course Certificates in June 2016, and An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python (Part 1) from Coursera Verified Certificates in June 2015.
