Rick Martínez

Rick Martínez is the current CTO at LineLeap. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Troupe from February 2020 to August 2022. Rick was also the VP of Engineering at Elysium Health from September 2017 to January 2020, where they led a team in rewriting their website from an old open source PHP store to a Rails and React-based checkout and subscription management app. Additionally, they have held positions as the Director of Engineering at Plated, Lead Engineer and Senior Engineer at Codecademy, and Lead Developer and Front-end Developer at OkCupid.com. Throughout their career, Rick has demonstrated their ability to mentor and grow developers while establishing a strong TDD culture.

Rick Martínez attended Florida International University, where they earned a degree in business administration.
