Sean Crager

Sean Crager is currently the Executive Vice President at LingaTech. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Information Officer for Franklin County, PA from June 2012 to November 2015. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of information technology for the county, including supporting over 900 users and 57 departments. Sean also oversaw the county's Archives Department and created and managed the Geographic Information Systems Department.

During their time as Chief Information Officer, Sean led the county's paperless initiative by implementing electronic document management solutions and introducing a cloud-based electronic signature solution. This resulted in savings of $900k for the county. Sean also spearheaded the implementation of a Uniform Parcel Identifier (UPI) system to improve the quality of land records within the county while generating over $350k in new annual revenue. Additionally, Sean consolidated three criminal justice software applications into one case management system.

Sean has also overseen the technology aspect of the divestiture of the county’s nursing home to a private entity, redesigned and re-branded the county's five disparate websites into one platform focused on eCitizen services and social media, moved the county's network backbone from an antiquated point-to-point wireless solution to a fiber optic solution by partnering with a local entity saving the county over $1M construction costs, and migrated the entire county email platform from an antiquated on-premise solution to a cloud-based solution (Google Apps for Government).

Sean Crager has a B.S. in Geoenvironmental Science / Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Minor from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. Sean is also certified as a government chief information officer and has a certification in ITIL v3 from ITpreneurs. In addition, they have a Masters Certificate in IS/IT Project Management and a Masters Certificate in Commercial Contract Management from Villanova University. Sean also has an Associate of Arts (AA) from Southwestern College.
