Michael Morrison has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering, spanning over several companies. Michael was a Senior Software Engineer at Lingo Communications from October 2019, where they developed a file transfer application in Golang and built applications for Finance that integrated with Dynamics Great Plains and SQL Server. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at Magna5 from February 2018 to October 2019.

From March 2003 to January 2018, Michael held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Impact Telecom, where they played a significant role in consolidating the PointOne and Pacwest networks into the Impact Telecom network. Michael also contributed to keeping the IT infrastructure healthy and added new features to support the organization. Michael was later promoted to the Director of IT in August 2014, which eventually transitioned back to a Senior Software Engineer role in April 2017 under Impact Telecom.

Prior to this, they served as a Senior Product Software Engineer at Global Crossing from September 1996 to March 2002, where they were responsible for developing various types of switches using H.323, SIP, and ISDN interfaces, mainly working with C and Java.

Michael Morrison began their education at Mohawk Valley Community College from 1979 to 1982. During this time, they pursued a degree in Business Administration and earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree. Following this, they attended SUNY Utica from 1982 to 1984, where they focused on Computer Science and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree.
