Ryan Than

Ryan Than has had a diverse and impressive work history. In 2021, they began working as a Software Engineer at Lingoport, and prior to that was a Software Engineer Intern, where they wrote, tested, and shipped several Bash shell scripts in accordance with clientele requests, and researched, developed, and tested several web application prototypes. In 2020, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder, where they worked alongside course staff to prepare and implement engaging lesson plans for ~35 students weekly, graded assignments in a timely manner, and assisted students to navigate the course and assignments. Also in 2020, they worked as a Front Desk Receptionist at Classy Nails & Spa, where they scheduled client appointments, monitored telephone and front-desk reception, and actively communicated with team members to ensure smooth daily operation. In 2018, they worked as a Mentor at the University of Colorado Boulder, where they built strong relationships with mentees and first-year students, connected students to and supported their use of existing academic resources, and planned events with other mentors to foster a strong and supportive community. Lastly, in 2018, they worked as an Engineering Student Intern at Build a Better Book, where they worked on 3 multimodal, tactile picture books for learners with visual impairments, utilized 3D printing, laser cutting, 3D modeling, and various craft materials to create engaging high-quality books, and worked in teams of 2-3 during the design, creation, and publishing process.

Ryan Than obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2021. Additionally, they obtained two certifications from LinkedIn in 2021, Adobe Dimension Essential Training: The Basics in April and InDesign 2021 Essential Training in March.
