Troy Stevens

Troy Stevens is an experienced Design Engineer with a diverse background in product design and development. Currently employed at Lingrove since February 2017, Troy focuses on research and development of bio-based composites. Previous roles include positions at Thync, Dysonics, Think2Build, and Curant Medical, where responsibilities encompassed 3D CAD modeling, prototyping, and interaction with manufacturers for design for manufacturability (DFM). Troy played a key role in developing multi-layer flex circuit EKG electrodes and consumer audio products, as well as designing furniture for Steelcase Coalese. As a partner and design engineer at Blackbird Guitars, Troy adapted traditional guitar-making techniques to carbon fiber composites. Additionally, Troy has experience in education as a Senior Lecturer at California College of the Arts and served as a Director at Absolutely New, overseeing product development for inventors. Troy holds a BAIA in Product Design and Development from San Francisco State University.
