Aya Awed

Aya Awed has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Aya has worked as a Senior Business Analyst Lead at Link Development since May 2022. In this role, they serve as a liaison between the business and development teams, defines business objectives, and analyzes system requirements.

Prior to that, Aya worked as a Senior Business Analyst at Ain Shams University from November 2019 to February 2020. Aya was responsible for gathering requirements, creating business analysis, and developing user stories for the implementation of a portal.

From August 2018 to November 2019, Aya held multiple roles at ITWORX Education. As an E-learning Implementation Consultant, they worked on digital transformation projects in education, advised on e-learning programs, and supported process implementation. Aya also served as a Product Manager, where they defined and released web and app products for the education sector. Additionally, they worked as a Trainer and Adoption Consultant, delivering digital transformation consultancy and training to teachers and education management.

Aya's earlier experience includes working as a Customer Support Engineer at Microsoft from November 2010 to April 2011, as well as an Assistant Teacher at the Faculty of Engineering, Computer Department from February 2009 to July 2010.

Aya Awed has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Computer Engineering from Helwan University Cairo. Aya obtained this degree from 2003 to 2008. In addition to their bachelor's degree, Aya has obtained several certifications. Aya is a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), which they received from Scrum Alliance in December 2019. Aya also holds an ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management, which they obtained from AXELOS Global Best Practice in February 2016. Lastly, they have a post-graduate diploma from Helwan University, although the specific details regarding the month and year of obtaining this diploma are not provided.
