Greg Smith

Greg Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Greg began their career at Discount Tire in 1998 as a Service Technician before transitioning to ZF TRW as a CO-OP Student in 2000. Greg then joined Link Engineering Company in 2003 and held various positions including Dynamometer Test Engineer, Vehicle Test Engineer, Senior Vehicle Test Engineer, and Supervising Engineer. In 2013, they assumed the role of Vehicle Test Engineering Manager, where they were responsible for leading vehicle testing operations and overseeing the hiring and development of engineering and technician staff. In 2016, Greg joined FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles as an Engineering Supervisor, specializing in Brake Certification and Development. Greg returned to Link Engineering Company in 2019 as the Product Manager of Data Acquisition Systems, and currently serves as the Engineering Manager - Advanced Vehicle Testing. Throughout their career, Greg has acquired expertise in areas such as automotive brake testing, data acquisition, NVH, and steering systems. Greg is described as hardworking, dedicated, and customer-service oriented.

Greg Smith attended the University of Michigan-Dearborn from 1998 to 2002. Greg obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering during their time there.
