Matthew Rand

Matthew is Link’s senior vice president, Research & Analytics, responsible for generating actionable insights that drive investment and operational decision making. He examines supply chain and logistics trends and changes, as well as builds models that consider property features, locations and larger market forces to analyze and predict long-term growth and investment potential.

Matthew joined Link in 2021 from Citadel Global Equities, where he managed a large U.S. REIT portfolio. He previously invested in REITs across all property types and was the global sector leader for real estate across the equities division at JPMorgan Asset Management. Before that, he was a sell-side research analyst focused on REITs at Goldman Sachs and Barclays. He started his career as a journalist.

Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. He is married, lives in Brooklyn and spends most of his time outside work walking his two children back and forth between taekwondo, swimming, gymnastics and dance classes.
