Link Maker helps to find placements for all children in care. For the first time a single system covers the whole UK, and all care settings, frameworks and consortia.

However wide the search, live information helps to find the right placement first time, which is essential for improving stability for children. The new commissioning platform has been recommended to all authorities and providers, and to the government, by Sir Martin Narey.

His recent review of residential care describes the time currently wasted in contacting providers to find a placement. It doesn’t have to be this way. When looking for a hotel for example, live systems offer suitable vacancies instantly, and this is what Link Maker brings to children’s social care.

Link Maker is already used by 90% of authorities across the UK, and is responsible for the majority of regional and national adoptive placements.
