Ivan Marrêta

Ivan Marrêta has extensive work experience in the field of Java software engineering. Ivan is currently working as a Senior Java Software Engineer at Linkare TI, where they are responsible for the development of a new company framework. Ivan'srole involves utilizing technologies such as Java 17, Wildfly 26, Docker, AWS, CDI, JGroups, Infinispan, CAS, Artemis MQ, and Jenkins.

Prior to their current position, Ivan worked at Aubay as a Lead Software Development Engineer. In this role, they worked with clients such as Novobanco and Infinera, focusing on delivering MVP products to production using agile techniques. Ivan also served as a team leader for microservices development, utilizing Java 8, SpringBoot, Docker, Kubernets, Openshift, and RHSSO.

Before joining Aubay, Ivan worked at TIS TECH Angola as a Lead Software Architect and Senior Software Engineer. In these roles, they provided technical and software architectural leadership, defined third-party application integration, and worked on the development and maintenance of web applications using technologies such as Java 8, Angular JS, JSF, SOAP, REST, Hibernate, WebLogic, Oracle Database, Spring Boot, and Spring Frameworks.

Ivan also has experience as a CEO, where they led a company called Brain Solutions, focusing on developing mobile applications for Android and iOS. Additionally, they served as a Java Leader at ITENE Tecnologia, leading a team responsible for Java web applications for government clients in Brazilian states.

Earlier in their career, Ivan worked as a Java Senior Developer at OFM Systems, where they worked on Java EE projects and developed web systems ERP for project management in the energy sector, with integrations with SAP applications.

Ivan Marrêta completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Systems of Information from FAL - Faculdade de Alagoas, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. Later, from 2012 to 2013, they pursued a postgraduate degree in Software Engineering from CESMAC. In addition to their educational qualifications, Ivan also obtained certifications in Risk Management and Leadership and Team Development from the International Business Management Institute (IBMI) in 2022 and 2021 respectively.
