Paulo Ribeiro

Paulo Ribeiro's work experience includes being the Managing Partner, CEO, and co-founder of Linkare TI, a company focused on using Java and web technologies to enhance business growth and digital transformation. Paulo has also served as the Vice-President of ESOP - Associação de Empresas de Software Open Source Portuguesas, a Portuguese association for open source software enterprises. Additionally, they have held the position of JUG Leader at the Portuguese Java User Group. Prior to their roles at Linkare TI and ESOP, Paulo Ribeiro was the Managing Partner, CEO, and co-founder of Educare. Paulo also served as the General Manager at SITAF - Investigação e Desenvolvimento de Tecnologias Avançadas para a Formação SA. Furthermore, they have held positions of President and Vice-President of the Board of Directors at ILAC/CT - Instituto Luso Africano para a Cooperação Científica e Tecnológica.

Paulo Ribeiro completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico. Paulo studied at the institute from 1988 to 1993. Following that, they pursued a Post-graduate master's degree in Hydraulics and Water Resources Management from the same institution. This degree was obtained from 1993 to 1997. Additionally, Paulo attended the MIT Sloan School of Management for a Special Summer Program in 1996, focusing on the Management of Research, Development, and Technology-Based Innovation.
