José Rodrigues

José Rodrigues has been working in the tech industry since 2013. In 2013, they were a Back-end Developer at StepValue - Web Intelligence, where they were responsible for the back-end development of institutional websites, from structuring the back-office to deploying the project. José also maintained legacy projects, including smaller developments using front-end technologies. In 2015, they became the Co-founder and Lead Developer at BlueWheels. In 2016, they joined helpr. as a Lead Backend Developer, where they were responsible for the backend and infrastructure that supported both mobile apps and CMSs. José successfully designed and implemented RESTful APIs from scratch, integrated with complex third parties services, coordinated, implemented and documented the technical side of the GDPR regulation, and designed, developed and maintained multiple Composer packages. In 2019, they joined Linkfire as a Cloud Operations Manager, Team Lead, and Senior Backend Developer.

José Rodrigues received their Master's degree in Computer Science from Universidade da Madeira in 2012, following their Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the same university, which they completed in 2010.
