David Whelan

David Whelan has over 30 years of extensive experience in all aspects of capital. They have held leadership roles, including Director at Sector Treasury Services (2000–2001) and Director of Group Treasury at Capita Group Plc (2002–2006). From 2007 to 2013, they served as Managing Director / Director at Sector Treasury Services Ltd / Capita Ifs, where they were responsible for all of Capita's external treasury advisory services. From 2013 to 2017 they were Managing Director - Treasury Solutions at Capita Asset Services, and since 2017 they are the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at MUFG Pension & Market Services. They are a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, a Fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers, and a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians.
