Tim Oakes

Tim Oakes is currently a Senior Data Quality Assurance Analyst at LinkIt!, where they focus on improving student achievement and educator productivity through data-driven solutions. They previously served as Sports Editor for The Statesman, overseeing coverage of Stony Brook's athletic teams. Tim also gained experience as a freelance reporter for Newsday Media Group and interned at 90.3 WHPC and WSHU Public Radio Group. They hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Stony Brook University and an Associate's Degree in Communication from Nassau Community College.
