Bernard Chain

Bernard Chain is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate and financial law. Currently a Partner at Linklaters since May 2014, Bernard has held various roles there, including Counsel and Managing Associate. Previous tenure includes a position as a Secondee at Deutsche Bank from August 2016 to February 2017 and several years at Allen & Overy, where responsibilities included Senior Associate, Associate, and Trainee Solicitor from September 2006 to March 2014. Bernard's educational background features a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws and a Master of Laws in Corporate and Financial Law from The University of Hong Kong, as well as a BA in Law and Business Studies from the University of Warwick. The academic journey began at Chinese International School, where an IB Diploma was obtained.
