Patrick Geortay

Patrick Geortay is a prominent legal professional with extensive experience in the banking and capital markets sectors. Currently, Patrick serves as a Partner and Managing Partner at Linklaters, a position held since 2007, after previously serving as Partner and Head of Capital Markets & Banking. Prior to joining Linklaters, Patrick was a Partner at Linklaters Loesch from 2002 to 2007 and held multiple roles, including Partner and Senior Associate, at De Bandt, van Hecke, Lagae & Loesch from 1993 to 2002. Patrick's educational background includes an LL.M in European and International Trade Law from the University of Leicester and degrees in Economics and Law from the University of Liège, along with admission to the Luxembourg Bar since 1999.
